My paintings are the result of my abstract thinking in colors.
Four colors, black, red, yellow and white, have been rearranged four times to express the same subjective emotion, balance/inner equilibrium. However, the process of rearrangement, is purely analytical and objective. The best possible arrangement in one setting cannot be copied in another setting. When treated objectively, colors will impose their own rules on our subjective world.
Every emotion or concept will require the modification of the use of a color group. In turn, each color group will generate a unique style to express each emotion or concept.
I work with a limited number of colors for each series, group or even a single painting. I rearrange and modify many variations from each color group. These variations are done in numerous dimensions on paper and on canvas. Sizes start at 4"x5" on paper, up to very large sizes on canvas. I also do commission work.
