The Light of Universe
Seeking the truth is easy; finding it, almost impossible. The path to universal truth is neither illuminated nor apparent. Elusive and unfathomable, truth is often hidden by illusions and distractions. Even when we get a glimpse of it now and then, it quickly disappears.
In order to avoid the ever present pitfalls and remain focused, a constant light is needed.
In ancient Persia as well as modern Iran, love has been given the highest and the most elevated position. It is considered sacred. In every facet of life, from the most ordinary human conduct, to a prevailing and persistent culture, art, music, poetry, literature and songs are all devoted to the praise, the power and the necessity of love in our lives.
Why would a nation, that has seen it all and had it all, from being the most powerful empire on earth to being leveled to dust several times with different invaders, choose to place love above all else in life?
In the pursuit, practice and the praise of the infinite levels of loving, the Iranian culture has reached a sustained peak and a level of perfection not surpassed. The absoluteness of love and worship is so deeply rooted and powerfully branched out in Iran that is has created an invisible and invincible empire a thousand times more powerful than the physical one, be it a monarchy, a republic or otherwise.
Love has a thousand faces and a thousand names to go with it. Hope, faith, peace, patience, charity, compassion, healing, serenity, clarity are just a few.
All forms of loving are cherished and praised. The object of one's love regardless of its shape and form is sacred, because it creates a channel through which this enormous and unbelievable power travels. It is sacred, because it generates an uplifting and expansive emotion. The ultimate love is the universal love and the unity with the higher being.
In order to love the divine, we must first love that which it has created. The only road to loving the creator is through loving its creation.
In every act of loving, we lose our negative qualities -- hatred, bias, anger -- which prevent us from seeing the truth. Loving gives us the ability to see with clarity. Every time we love, we receive a light. No light is ever given, unless it is earned. Many lights are needed to find our path. The brightest light is given, when we love that which is the hardest to love.
Love is the Light of Universe.
